Rome SDS hits Twitter

Rome SDS SnowboardsFinally, a company puts Twitter to good use. Friday afternoon, Rome SDS had their newest designer, Mike Forester, sit on Twitter (rough Friday) and answer questions for awhile.

As incentive to participate, Rome offered up a 2011 Addictive Collection 157 Rocker, the Last Supper, that was designed by Mike during his internship (I guess internships CAN turn into jobs.) Some questions related to the industry, others, well, not so much. Overall, it was pretty entertaining, and a seemed like a great way for people to talk to the company. Hopefully more companies can find a way to really make social media social. Check out some sample Q&A's
@the_placeholder
: can you name some graphic trends that are getting stale in snowboarding?
@RomeSDS: For sure: Space and Tigers. 80's. Dia los muerto's inspired gigs. Companies that make"punk-looking stuff"!!!
@VTPete
: If you could give advice (140 characters or less) to everyone right now, what would it be?
@RomeSDS: You can always be replaced and the harder you work, the luckier you will get. Oh that and everybody wang chung tonight.
@MichCont
: Where do you come up with your designs?
RomeSDS: Inspiration shows up everywhere, mass media, a good powder day, Tarantino movies, an awesome concert, your friends.
@akidnameddroo
: pet unicorn or pet polarbear?
@RomeSDS: Polarbear with a unicorn horn. Game over.
@HortyNJ
: What do you do to take care of yourself after an injury? whats your rehab?
@RomeSDS: Find yourself a great girl and have her give you backrubs for days. If there isn't one available, whiskey works just fine.

Twitter. And while you're there, why not follow Stash Slash too?
